According to reports released by the herald newspaper, the late JoyFM / BBC’s journalist Komla Afeke Dumor, will be buried at his hometown Avoemey, a suburb of Aflao in the Volta Region. The herald writes:
The Catholic Church, is expected to hold a Funeral Mass for him on a Saturday morning at the Aflao Victoria Park, thence to the Avoemey Public Cemetery for burial.
The Herald is informed that Madam Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Deputy Minister for Tourism and Creative Arts, has been chosen as the Chairperson of the Funeral Committee by the Aflao Traditional Council.
The mortal remain, which has been deposited at the Lashibi Funeral Home in Accra, will be kept for few more weeks.
